Jesup First United Methodist Church offers a variety of programs and activities for students (6th through 12th Grade). We invite you to consider these programs and welcome parental involvement in any and all activities. STUDENT MINISTRIES SUNDAY SCHOOL, Sunday, 9:45: There is a Sunday School class for students (6th – 12th Grade). This class, taught by Mr. Doug Sharp, allows our teens to learn scripture and how it applies to their daily lives. CHIMES AND HANDBELLS, Sunday, 4:00: The students enjoy learning and rehearsing music as part of the Student Handbell Choir. Under the leadership of Mrs. Amy Blaylock with assistance from Director of Music Ministries, Dr. David Amann, the students rehearse weekly and perform in worship regularly. Those interested in participating in one of these groups should contact the Director of Children’s Ministries. STUDENT FELLOWSHIP, Sunday, 4:55: The Students enjoy interaction with other students, a time of fun and games, a snack supper, and a worship time including singing and a devotional during Student Fellowship. Everyone is invited and those interested should contact the Director of Children’s Ministries. STUDENT BIBLE STUDY, Wednesday, 6:45: There is a Student Bible Study on Wednesday evening as part of our Family Night Fellowship. Students eat supper with the Church family at 6:00 and then, move to the Student Room for a Bible Study taught by Mrs. Lori Lewis, Director of Children’s Ministries. All Jr. High and Sr. High students are invited and those interested should contact the Director of Children’s Ministries. |
